NYC Cafes

Well, for some time I talked about developing a website, all database driven blah blah, to list the cafes in Manhattan and you could log in and enter your cafe. I had high hopes of doing it, but truth is I am just too busy. So, instead, I'm going to list the cafes I can say are excellent. Maybe one day, if I do more ASP developing, I'll do the site (and when I do it'll kick ass).
Anyways, here's a short list which will grow to a website very soon!
Gimme Coffee
L train to 2nd stop in Brooklyn (Lorimer Street/Metropolitan)
Best cafe in
Sicaffe
29 John Street right below City Hall Park
Microfoam with latte art, my coffee before I get into the 2,3,4,5,6 train.
9th Street Espresso
E 9th & Avenue C, Manhattan
This and Gimme are the only places in New York to get a god shot each time.
D'Amico Foods
309 Court Street, Cobble Hill (Brooklyn Heights), Brooklyn
Fine italian espresso served in Danesi cups pulled by a 25 year old restored Feama. Good family made espresso.

Okay, go to any of those and you'll be happy. I am lucky to be able to drink banging espresso between trains in the morning before work, during work just a quick short 7 blocks away (little brooklyn blocks), and after work just a few blocks from my house. Now, I drink coffee like I used to (during the day), but I know where to go. And all I ever drink is espresso and sometimes a cappuccino.

Just so you all know, that image on top of this post of the spacious cafe - it's not in NYC. I stole it off the Internet so I wouldn' thave to upload my own image. LOL
Well, this is interesting. I did a blog search for barista and found your site. When I get some time I'll come back and find out where barista appears and how it relates - if it even does. Take care - nice work.
Hey, you have a great blog here! I'm definitely going to bookmark you! I have a computer consultant site/blog. It pretty much covers computer consultant related stuff.
